It's really here.
Today, marks the start of the O level examination, after years of waiting. To kick start the exam, we have the Combined science practical, and I did my physics and chemistry. The chemistry practical was a screw-ed up for me. I always did chemistry first because I'd forever fail to attain the result for my chemicals. As usual, I'm stuck with patches of problems here and there, but I managed to write something on the observations. However, I can only say that I wrote utter rubbish on almost all my observations. When it comes to guessing the anion, I guessed carbonate for solid X and sulfate for solution Y and I only came to know that the actual answer is most probably hydroxide for Y instead of sulfate! ;(
Physics was quite alright I guess. The moment I enter the laboratory, I was scrutinizing the whole set-up for physics, and I managed to derive to what we're going to do even before I flip open the question booklet. It's mainly just following the essay-like instructions and plotting the graph. My length L is kinda short though.. only 67 cm while my friends were getting 70-90 cm. ;X
As for the last part of the physics paper, we need to identify the error! That's when I got some mind-block and I wrote something that sounds logical to me ;x And that is, the error is that the length shouldn't be a negative value, and we can improve the experiment by starting point C on the other side, so that the gradient of the graph plotted will be a positive gradient, and thus the length L will be positive. Most probably it's wrong, but it's alright since it's already over and done with.
Next paper will be tomorrow, and that would be the Fundamental of electronics. Looks like I will need plenty of luck for this paper ;)
It is finally here. We've all been looking forward to this day. Now that it had started, we shall persevere on and not let our hard work gone down to the drain. I know, we can all do it. Definitely.
