The Seeker : The dark is rising

Today, me, victor, clara, amanda and yi yin went to watch this movie called The Seeker.

We agreed to meet at vivo city at 12.30. However, when I reached there at 12.15 and I called victor, he said that he had just woke up!
So I waited until about 12.40 before victor came.
That's not the worse yet. Me and victor waited for about 1 hour 40 min before clara, amanda and yi yin come.
It's like what the heck! We spent nearly 2 hour in waiting for those 3 girls!

After that, the 5 of us rushed to the cinema to catch the 2pm show.
Now I will give my opinion about the movie.

The seeker : The dark is rising
This movie is about a small guy called Will. He had just reached 14 and he was told that he was The Seeker. The whole movie is about a battle between the Light and the Dark.
The dark's power is rising in 7 days time, and when that happen, the whole Earth will perished.
The only way for the Light to defeat the Dark is that the Seeker, which is Will, will have to find all the 6 signs. The signs will appear and he will try to get it. Of course, the Dark uses many many way to stop him from getting it.
After collecting 5 signs, he can't figure out where's the sixth sign and it's already the last day.
So, when the guy whose the Dark tried to kill him, he somehow figured out that he him is the sixth sign. So he simply raised up his hand to prevent the Dark power and he trapped the Dark into a snow globe. Yeah, kinda silly, just raised up his hand and there is no visual effect or whatsoever.

The whole movie idea was great, however, it does not have a lot of actions, fighting, visual effects. The whole movie become very dull.
It's not bad, but not good also.

After that, we went to the pet shop and a large bookshop called Page One.
And when the clock struck 5, the girls had to go home. So eventually, me and victor went home too.
Kinda disappointed as we do not have much time to play and shop. It's all because the 3 girls were SOOO late.
If we all were there punctually at 12.30, we would have a lot of time to play and to shop.

Improved a lot compared to last time.
My sec one level position is 34 for semester 1, semester 2 is 32.
Sec 2 1st semester ranking is 20 and now, 13. Hope can improve AGAIN next year. ^^

A day at Ngee Ann Poly

Hi there!

Today, the whole of our class, 2A, went to Ngee Ann poly for some basic understanding of Electronic. I did not take any photos... That Mr Wee said no handphone allow. Darn!

The lecturer tour us around. We first went into a classroom and one teacher teach us some basic of electronic, accompanied with magic. Looks like his pretty good in magic!

Later on, we went to a some sort of place for those enginnerring students in Poly. There is even a clean room which has about 10000 dust particles only. They also show us the classrooms and labs there.
After that, we went to the alpfa block, where we go to the biomedical rooms. The teacher there introduce to us about biomedical, and those products like measure heart beats etc etc.
Then, we went up to sixth floor where we were introduced to the digital audio technology. The teacher showed us some broadcast of digital radio and... Gosh, how am i suppose to explain it? Nvm, forget about it. How I wish i have photos...

After the tour at alpfa block, Mr Wee dismissed us.
This tour had actually inspired me to take Electronic. Oh man, im really in a dilemma. I wanted to take electronic, but after some consideration, I chose option 1, which is triple pure science. However, after the tour, I decided to change it back to option 2 which is electronic again. I hope I will make the correct decision. =S

Yoyo tricks



Wahahaha! The video is totally cool!

Some of it I can do. Hehehe, I used to be sort of yoyo pro when I was in Primary school. I can do tricks like paris tower, twin tower and some of it which is pretty complicated. I spent a lot of time playing yoyo last time, but since I advanced on to secondary school, and yoyo is losing its trend, I stop touching my yoyo...
LOL, anyway, enjoy the movie!

New wallet!

Yipee!
Yesterday went to Bugis with my mum.
Since my wallet is so old and stinky, my mum agreed to get me a new wallet!

Also, later in the evening, Kelly Poon went to Bugis to advertise for her new album. Did not take pictures of her since im not a big fan of her.

Streaming Option

Hi there!
Yesterday which is friday, me and my mum went to school at 7.30 pm.
We were there for a streaming talk which lasted for one and a half hour.
There's a talk by one of the lecturer from ngee ann poly and he gave us a talk on AGS (fundemental of electronic)
Previously, I was very interested in that subject, but soon, start to feel that it ain't the right subject for me, so decided not to take AGS.
After listening to all the talks from principle and lecturer, I struggled a lot in making my decision.
Nevertheless, I choosen option 1 follow by 2, then 3 and then 4.
Option 1 is triple pure science and double maths. One of the challenging one.
Option 2 is double pure science, double maths but have AGS.
Option 3 is pure bio, combine science.
Option 4... Oh my, I forgotten. Oops.

Im also very happy with my result.
I shown a lot of improvment, and I guess thats what matters most to me. :)
Keep improving!
I scored an overall percentage of 72.2% and my level ranking in sec 2 express is 13.

Exam aftermath

Whew~
Exam is over and today just received most of my result...
I dont know if i should be happy or not. It hits my expectation, but still, compared to my clever classmates, im still lagging behind...

English - 65 (no expectation)
Science - 77 (expectation is 75)
Maths - 72 (expectation is 65)
Chinese - 70 (no expectation)
Literature - yet to receive
History - 78 (expectation 75)

Yup~
Hope that my english will be A2 after summing up all the marks and my chinese will be A1 after summing up all my marks from common tests also.

Exam over... FREEDOM! YAY!

Finally!
Finished my end of year exam. Phew!
The test today, which is Maths paper 2 IS DAMN HARD.
I never done such a hard test before.
I left 3 question blank, amazing but true.
Would be happy if I can pass and im now pinning my hope on paper 1 :(

After the exam, me and my classmates went to Jurong bowl to play bowling.
I was like WTF, always gutter.
We played 3 games and my score is 40+, 24, 40+ zzzz SUPER BAD. I dont know why, I just can't play bowling. Nevertheless, I had fun, so who cares? LOL
Okay gotta start gaming now MUAHAHAHA!

Japanese game show

LOL!
Was surfing yahoo videos and i found this funny japanese game show.



Its about they all need to pass through the styrofoam with the shape of a human body, so they need to adjust themself to the shape of body so that they can pass through.
Worth watching, very funny.

The exam week

This week is exam week,
Here's our exam time table.

Mon - Chinese paper 1 and paper 2 (done)
Tuesday - English paper 1 maths paper 1 (done)
Wednesday - History (done)
Thursday - English paper 2 and Literature (done)
Friday - Science!!! (Undone)
Next monday - Maths paper 2 DIE LIAO! (undone)

The chinese paper 1 and paper 2 is FREAKING EASY
English paper 1 and 2 is also EASY! Maths paper 1 is still average, although some clever peeps might consider it to be pretty easy...
History is easy too... Literature is HARD LIKE HELL. I dont know why, but I find it hard.
Okay, tomorrow and next monday taking science and maths paper 2, hope it wont be hard *PRAY PRAY PRAY*
