Poly Experience!Hello!
Sorry for not blogging for the past 5 days! was either busy, lazy, or nothing important in my life to blog about. Teehee!
But, on Friday, went to the Poly Experience thingy at Ngee Ann Poly. All I can say is, ITS A BLAST! Totally enjoyed myself to the max ;D
After dismissed from sch at 12.30pm, rushed home to bath and get changed, and took bus 61 to NP. I though I was late (okay, indeed I was late, reach at 2.10pm, but initial meeting time is 2pm), but little did I know that the rest arrived later. Phew~ LOL! ;X
Then we went to register at the convention hall and waited for a few more peeps to arrive. The rest of them joined either business, engineering or life science, and i'm the only one who joined the tour for Media&Humanities. Luckily, syafiqah, atiqah, amani, nisa and shao yi were also coming for the Media&humans, so at least im not alone ;D
We were then seated in the convention hall, with a series of fabulous performance. The batucada were amazing, cheerleading performance left me awe-struck with their stunts. Then we had 2 speakers (were they lecturers?) and they were around the audience seat and we will be captured on the screen if we're unlucky ;X Haha. Yup, they talked about NP's life and the Direct Poly Admission (DPA) thingy. We then have the last performance by the dance group, which were equally fantastic and they were all in sync with one another!
Then the fun begins! The friendly facilitators from NP brought us to the FMS block and we were splitted into different groups (too many people luh!)
So yeah, we were super crazy, laughing hysterically and people were like thinking if we were off in our mind or what. ROFL! Im glad we didn't get thrown out. LOL!
So our first venue is at level 9, whereby we went to a small room and the lecturer were giving some quiz on music. Then, he requested for 2 volunteers, 1 guy and 1 girl. Yup, there is this girl call Fadhilah who volunteered, as for the guys... i'm choosen. ;X
It's kinda embarrassing, we were given a script and then we must enter a some sort of recording studio and wear the headphone. There's like a mic in front of each of us and we have to read out the advertisement on the script. It's very weird, cos I can see the rest of them at the other room, staring at us! So pai seh lah! LOL! So yeah, had a trial run, and then a actual one which they recorded it down. So when we went back to the room, we listened to the replay of our recording. LOL my face blushed, cos I was really mortified, you know, hearing ur own voice and acting hyper in the recording ;X And Fadhilah were really great, she's a awesome speaker ;D
The next station is a place which was about story telling, and its fun cos there's this 2 person out there acting out a scene and we must guess the plot of their act. Pretty great! Then we went to the school of Humanities and we were brought to a classroom whereby the lecturers played some ice breaker game as well as teaching us some pronounciation. We were then given many different words and must group them according to the phonetics. Although we didn't win, but it was interesting ;D
Thats the end of our tour, and I had also registered to the Red Camp! Hope that I can be given a place in the red camp as seats are limited! ;D
All I can say is, it's an extremely fun and whacky day! LOL cos we were basically jokers who joke throughout ;X AND NISA & SYAF WERE LIKE KEEP CALLING ME FAMOUS -.- LOL! Hilarious! ;D
Oh, pretty sorry I didnt took much photo... cos I was laughing too much and did not remembered to snap photos in the process of our tour. ;(

And oh, I applied for DPA already, after sooo many tries, cos I keep exceeding the word limit. ;D Hope that everyone who applied can successfully pass the DPA and secured a seat in the course of your choice! Good luck! ;D
