Hello!
Had flag day today. It was my first time doing the flag day and I must say, phew, it's really an exciting experience.
Went to school at around 10 am with jeans as my pants are been washed.
Went with kelvin to clementi and meet up with ming yang. It was tough to get people to donate at first, cos was kind of shy, but after I seperate with kelvin and yang, I started to approach people and managed to get some coins!
Kel is lucky lah, can get notes, even up to a ten dollar note! I only have a lot of coins and only an 2 dollar note...
Another challenge is that there are actually a lot of other schools around, so many people whom I approached had already donated, but still, I hope I can managed to get the minimum $20, but I dont think I have.
Settled lunch at Mos Burger, ordered the hotdog meal.
Continued for around half an hour after lunch and travelled back to school.
It might be a tiring day, but its okay because I get to experience something which I never get to experience and I realise that tough it is to ask people to donate as well as handling rude people. A fantastic and meaningful day indeed!
